survey

Today room six did a survey on 24 Maori students. We asked them if they celebrated Matariki. 18 people said  that they do not do anything on Matariki and only one person said that she went out early morning to look at the seven sisters. Two people said that they had a dinner with their family. And there were 3 people said that their had a Barbecue.

This tells me that Matariki is not a very popular festival, but it is an important festival and so every person in New Zealand should celebrate this festival.

space

Space is everywhere and space is pitch black that's why there is darkness in space. We do not know where space ends which means that space is infinite. Scientists do not know all fact about the space. Light can travel through space but not sound. There is a possibility that there are other suns and solar system out there. There is no oxygen in space that's why the astronauts wear masks in space so they can breath. Image result for space

Our quiet time book
                    By Janet
Today we read a book that
Mrs Sharma showed us today.
The book was called our quiet
time book. Janet made the book
when she was young.
Now she is 96 years old.
This book is different because
this book is made out of cloth.
This book long lasted 80 years.
The book helped children to learn
how to do things like shoe laces.
Janet was very clever to have
made a book that

has been by every young child
in her family.
