What causes Earthquakes?

What causes Earthquakes?
The inside of the Earth is hot and molten soft (liquid). It hardens near the surface as it cools, forming crust. These rocky crust is made of tectonic plates. The plates lock together. The molten rock underneath the plates pushes out in different directions, but the plates resist. sometimes, though, the pressure is so strong that the edges of the plates move. When that
happen, we feel a Earthquake.     Image result for tectonic plates
